A high number of octanes (115), no harmful additives, no sulphurous products and perfect combustion. These systems can be installed on almost all brands of all vehicles, and filling stations have been created to refuel the tanks installed in cars. LPG systems need to take up little room, and be as safe and as functional as petrol systems. This safety is ensured by the construction systems used, the quantity of materials used and the controls carried out before, during and after construction.

The system is built by placing the storage tanks
inside a reinforced concrete formwork that is
partially or totally installed below ground. The
pumps are placed outside the tank and can be positioned
on top of the tank itself or adjacent to the tank
containing formwork.
Thanks to the special priming mechanism on this
type of pump, they can draw the LPG directly from
the top of the tank through a drawing pipe that
reaches right to the bottom of the tank. This
is a simple, safe installation that also guarantees
high reliability, easy and cheap maintenance and
low installation costs.

Following the issue of the new Italian Presidential
Decree D.P.R. no. 340 of 24/10/03, the need has
arisen to modernise all existing LPG systems to
bring them in line with the new safety standards
foreseen in Chapter III of the same decree.
External negative head pumps can be used successfully
also to modernise old systems and ensure that
they comply with the Italian Presidential Decree
D.P.R. no. 340/03, as in this way it is possible
to fully eliminate the old underground pump room,
by using one or more negative head pumps located
on the top of the formwork and above the level
of the sand which is used to eliminate the old
pump room. This is a simple, safe installation
that also guarantees high reliability, easy and
cheap maintenance and low modernisation costs.
